Add asset type similar to Printers and Cartridges
I would like to ask for the addition of 2 asset types. UPSs and Batteries. This would allow us to keep track of our good spare batteries and know how often we are replacing batteries do to failure or do to scheduled maintenance. Thanks for the consideration.

Batteries have been added as components a few days ago. It'll be available in GLPI 9.2
For UPS, we'd like to add it in an upcoming major release as a separate inventory asset.

That is great news. I just upgrade to GLPI 9.1.2 today. Any idea the time line for 9.2 and the release with the asset UPS?

UPS management won't be in 9.2, only batteries.
We haven't yet announced any release date for GLPI 9.2
