add tags to Helpdeks/Tickets

balucha 9 years ago updated by glpi 4 years ago 5
Add customable tags like in email clients(thundebird,...) or other programs where I can tag emails and work with this tags(search, filter,..).

We need to tags tickets with same symptoms or with needed same action,...., or tag same tickets for certain time.
Examples.
1.Different users describe same problem different. I create tag and this tag add to all tickets with same problem. Technician/supervisor search or filter tickets with this tag and work with those ticket.
2.Or when we upgrade application and after upgrade all new tickets related to this upgrade we group by tag. After some time we can get statistic that this upgrade produce xx tikcets(incidents or requests).
3.We have 200+ opened tickets and with tags I can tag tickets to the groups or filter by tags.

Now I can only link tickets. Linking tickets is good only for some scenarios.
For some scenarios I can use Problems, Changes or in 0.85 Project, but they are needlessly complicated.

Tag is simple and easy multipurpose feature.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion.

Our official GLPI TAG Plugin does this feature : http://plugins.glpi-project.org/#/plugin/tag

We have not planned to integrate it in GLPI core.

I think that you are looking for this plugin - http://plugins.glpi-project.org/#/plugin/tag.
Thank`s for info. It`s is good plugin, but I would like to see this in GLPI.

Disclaimer: I like the fact that additional features for GLPI are possible via plugins: this makes the GLPI core less bloated.

Why integrate a plugin into the GLPI Core? If the plugin does the job there is no need to make it part of GLPI.
If you think the plugin's features should be integrated into GLPI's core: please explain why it should be, which advantages it would brings, why the plugin-solution is not working (or badly).
