Hi,

We close this suggestion, it can and should be directly processed in a plugin.

(as the oauth2 plugin does for this protocol)

Regards

Just to remind you. This has been already implemented as a plugin - http://plugins.glpi-project.org/#/plugin/fpsaml. Some additional development is needed (there is an issue with session which blocks access to plugins).

We're waiting for a pull request from David Durieux on this subject.

For more information, please contact him directly

GLPI integration with Keycloak or Red Hat Single Sing On, to allow authentication from social networks like facebook, google + , twitter , etc.

http://www.keycloak.org/ (Open Source)

https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-single-sign-on (Comercial)

They are solutions of identity management and authentication , also they offer:

Single-Sign On - Un solo login para múltiples aplicaciones
Protocolos Estándar - OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 y SAML 2.0
Administración Centralizada - Para administradores y usuarios
Adaptadores - Para Servicios y Aplicaciones Seguras fácilmente
LDAP y Active Directory - Conneccion a directoris de usuarios existentes
Social Login - Habilitar facilmente social login
Identity Brokering - OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0 IdPs
Alto Rendimiento - Ligero, rápido y escalable
Clustering - Para escalabilidad y disponibilidad
Temas - Personalización del aspecto
Extensible - Personalización a través de código
Políticas de contraseñas - Personalización de políticas de contraseñas

It would be interesting to integrate these applications with GLPI and get all these possibilities.
