I'm bumping this thread. It's a good topic. I recently configured a custom asset type in GLPI specifically for servers (e.g., for cloud environments or specialized hardware). Everything works great, but I'm stuck at the cluster stage: in Management > Clusters > Elements, I can only add the standard "Computers" and "Network Devices." There are no options for my custom types.
This is a significant limitation – clusters should be flexible and support any assets, especially in heterogeneous IT environments. Has anyone managed to work around this, for example, through plugins, database modifications, or configuration? Or is this a feature request on the roadmap? Please share your experiences, as it could help many admins.
