Get the PC name in a ticket

Pretty URLs with htaccess

The URL at today is: http://myurl.com/front/funtionality.php?id=XXX or http://myurl.com/plugin/funtionality.php the idea it's change this trough htaccess for http://myrul.com/funtionality/ID I mean the URL change to this: Example the URL for projects it is:http://myurl.com/plugins/projet/front/projet.php the htaccess change just for /project/ and when you chooose a project appear form this must be changed too so: form + ID it's reduced so the final it's http://myurl.com/projet/01 or ticket case Example the ticket URL it's: http://myurl.com/front/ticket.form.php?id=000000 the htaccess change just for /ticket/ and when you chooose a ticket appear form this must be changed too so: form + ID it's reduced so the final it's http://myurl.com/Ticket/20153001

Searchoptions for Location Droppdown

Hello,

Is it possible to expand the selection list for the location? 
The comment is displayed in the mouseover, but unfortunately not the room name. 
It would be very helpful if you could also search for the room name in the search bar 
and this would then be displayed in the information.

Notifications in GLPI-Agent

It would be great if glpi-agent, when running Agent Monitor, would show

notifications received from glpi. For example, we have notifications

turned on in the browser and when we receive a notification about, for

example, a resolved ticket, information appears in windows

notifications.

Auto assign tickets from email to entities for known senders

When a ticket is received from a known email address it is not automatically assigned to the entity of the user associated with that email address. I cannot imagine a scenario whereby a ticket from a user would need to be associated with a entity other than that which the users belongs to.

I can create rules to assigned the entity for tickets based on the sender's email address, and this works easily for those using a corporate domain however when a user's email address is GMAIL, or similar, then he rules need to be updated constantly as new users are added.

As the information to achieve this is already in GLPI I would like to see an option that would allow tickets received via email for known senders to be auto assigned to the correct entity.

Add rights over impact analysis (View, Add, Modify, Delete) At least Delete.

Today, if a user have a profile to edit an asset in impact analysis have full rights to others assets relationships to delete even if it doesn't have access.

It could be nice to add rights to only control his own assets or at least deny the possibility to delete relations to other assets who don't have any permissions.

Validations view

When a ticket has more than one validation, the requests validations and responses validations are visible in the ticket view (timeline) but there is any relation between the request ans the response.

For example:

  1. A first validation request is created
  2. A second validation request is created
  3. Follow-ups and tasks are created before any validation responses
  4. The second request is validated. You see validation in the ticket timeline but you do not see which one it corresponds to. You must go to the "Approvals" tab to view it.
    There is no link in the view between the request and the response

Automated Updates in GLPI Packet Deploy

Description:

Hello GLPI Team,

We have successfully implemented the GLPI ITSM infrastructure in our corporate environment, utilizing all available modules efficiently. One of our key use cases is leveraging the Packet Deploy task to automate third-party software updates.

Currently, even in the latest version, this feature is quite limited for managing software like:

Google Chrome

Mozilla Firefox

7-Zip

WinRAR

Visual Studio Code

(and other commonly used applications)

Feature Request

We would like to enhance the GLPI Packet Deploy system by:

Hosting third-party software in a local repository within GLPI, allowing for centralized deployment.

Enabling GLPI to check and fetch the latest available versions from official sources (internet) and dynamically update its local repository.

Implementing version control on client devices, ensuring that outdated software is automatically updated to the latest version via scheduled deployment tasks.

Why This Matters

If implemented, this feature would:

✅ Eliminate manual third-party software updates, significantly reducing IT workload.

✅ Enhance security by ensuring all clients are always running the latest patched versions.

✅ Improve compliance & system stability, preventing compatibility issues caused by outdated software.

We strongly believe this feature would be a game-changer for IT administrators using GLPI as a centralized software management solution.
