Integrate GLPI with Openfire Instant Messaging Server and Spark client, both are Open Source projects:


Openfire is a real time collaboration (RTC) server licensed under the Open Source Apache License. It uses the only widely adopted open protocol for instant messaging, XMPP (also called Jabber). Openfire is incredibly easy to setup and administer, but offers rock-solid security and performance.

Spark is a Cross-platform real-time collaboration client optimized for business and organizations.


Set an option to start a chat with technical or any user of GLPI , start a chat from the Ticket list or from the details of the ticket, etc.

Really would be really cool, especially if it were possible some additional implementation of remote access, like anydesk among many others ..

Integrating the Fastpath Service plugin would also be good.

You can do it with live helper chat. Either using the plugin or installing LHC separately. It works great
