thanks Gougueule translator :

GLPI being above all a tool intended for helpdesks, they are also very fond of various and varied procedures / documentation.

I am surprised that GLPI does not offer such a module in order to manage the procedures in an efficient, clean, readable way with search, viewer, calls to external server resources and other viewing tools.

there is of course a documents module, but this one is a merry b .. catch-all which includes both the doc of the IT team as the documents transmitted by the users via the attachments of the tickets (and obsolete / unnecessary after several months).

The ideal would be to be able to publish our documents with simple metadata and possible classifications / subclassifications.
A configuration will even allow you to point to a network folder for the repository of these files (if not, copy on the GLPI database which will grow, grow ...).

Why not indicate the local reader / viewers according to the extensions (pdf, open office, office, etc.) to avoid any local file download!

It certainly looks like a GED, but lighter, more flexible and implemented in GLPI, therefore easily accessible to the helpdesk and other teams.

Il suffit de modifier le fichier fd_logo.png du dossier \glpi\pics et le tour est joué ;)

I have the same problem with autodesk bundle like Autodesk BDS or AEC which include multiple software(41) for 1 licence.

at this time, the glpi licensing system is not enough efficient to be used as done ... an update and community listening is needed !!
