Task & Sub Tasks at root level project

The task view in a project contains a parent column. Great when you want to look at all the tasks.
However, this is quickly unreadable when you want to observe only tasks of the current level.

At the level of sub-tasks the problem does not arise.
Why not limit the view of tasks at the project level to only that of the directly inferior level and not all the tasks ?

La vue des tâches dans un projet contient une colonne père. Très bien quand tu veux regarder toutes les tâches.
Cependant, c'est rapidement illisible lorsque vous souhaitez observer uniquement les tâches du niveau actuel.

Au niveau des sous tâches le problème ne se pose pas.
Pourquoi ne pas limiter la vue des tâches au niveau projet à seulement celle du niveau directement inféreur et non toutes les tâches ?

New ticket collected and assignement

We get tickets with email Receiver.

When tecnicien opens a new ticket, he has to enter "Category" and "Assigned to" himself.

For "Assigned to", it's very easier to use icon "Issociate myself".


But doing this in only ONE step is not possible :

  1. you have to enter "Category"
  2. then Save
  3. then clic "Associate myself" is well assigned

Notification on Ticket as watcher

Hi Community,

Is it possible in GLPI that on the ticket creation, I added someone as watcher and when there is an update or if ticket is closed, the watcher can be notified thru email or there will be a notification bell on the user GLPI interface.

add the possibility to reduce display name (group, in my case)

Hello,


In a compagny with a large group tree (exemple : Compagny > Sub Group > Service A > Team 04 > Project Alpha), the display (in ticket list, or mail notification for instance) of the complete/full group name could makes the reading painful.

The idea is to allow to display the simple name of the group, or better, the "partial complete" name (with deep leve choice ) : exemple : "deep=1" only display "Team 04 > Project Alpha"

Software Patches Searcher from providers web pages

I think that would be interesting to have a kind of software watcher that go to providers web pages where they deploy patches.

For example going to Microsoft to check for patches if I have a windows OS or Office installed.


I guess that you need a lot of plugins for all the providers (at least the important ones).

Do you think this is feasible? Do you know if something like this already exists?

Software Dictionary add version by regex

It would be nice if I could filter the version of a software with a regex as a criteria and then use that regex to be set in 'actions'.

Block task duration

Is it possible to block the duration of tasks to a maximum? If so, is this also possible depending on the categories?

Example:
Remote intervention> 1h max
On-site intervention> 2h max

Planning : Overlapping tasks

Hello,

We have a problem with GLPI. We have implemented the scheduled task system for technicians, however when the same technician schedules the task for a day and a time when there is already another task with the same time on the same day, it just marks him a message of 'Warning:

"User ******* is busy for the selected time period

  • Task ticket for one: from 02-17-2021 10:30 am to 02-17-2021 11:00 am
    New Agent Form
  • External event: from 02-17-2021 10:00 to 02-17-2021 12:00
    busy "

We want this to block the user and not save the task.
