Because with the "user DN" of the Active Directory together with regular expressions it gives you enormous power to customize various rules
Promote ticket without having to give permission to update follow-ups
Today it is possible to promote a ticket, however it is necessary to give permission to update followups in the profile to enable the icon, but it is not always interesting to enable this permission, it would be interesting if there was an option to permit only this feature.

Knowledge Base Template
As I am working towards training users to build KB Articles in the improved Knowledge Base, There are some custom formatting settings I would like to see used across the board.
It would be nice if we could create a KB Template per entity so that formatting could be the same when trained technicians create new KB Articles.

Mark fields as mandatory
We can define unicity on some fields, but their value can still be empty.
On another hand, we may want to set some fields as mandatory; but without any unicity.
Maybe could we consider upgrading the unicity feature to a more generic "fields setup", with unicity and mantadory (at least). Such fields must be marke as required on the html side (using the "standard" * mark, and the relevant html attribute.
Language by Entity - Define language by entity with more relevant is user language, second is Entity and the last is GLPI Default Language

This will be helpfull for who use GLPI with Anonymous Ticket. When tickets came from specific e-mail address the rule move to specific Entity so the e-mails notifications will be sent following the language of the entity and not from GLPI Default language.
Template for Problems
Firstly, thank you for this amazing application.
Please add a template option for 'Problems'. It would be so helpful.
Associate documents to some dropdowns (eg. computer models)
Context: I use the Documents (from Management) to store some user manuals, technical specifications, firmwares, utility softwares about my computers, network equipment, printers, etc.
If a technician needs the user guide about the computer he is repairing he does not have to look on the Internet or find the physical manual (if any): he just goes to the "Documents" tab of the asset.
This solution works fine but have a major drawback: documents can be associated to single/individual asset. So if I have three servers of the same model (eg. BrandX SupermodelY) I'll have to associate my user manuals to theses three assets. If in the future I acquire a fourth SupermodelY server: let's hope I won't forget to associate it to my user manuals.
What I suggest is the ability to associate a document to some dropdowns, for examples:
- The models (Computer models, Networking equipment models, Printer models, Monitor models, Peripheral models, Phone models).
- Virtualization systems
- Operating systems
Then, I'll associate my BrandX SupermodelY user guide to the "BrandX SupermodelY" computer model, and any past or future computer asset that is of model "BrandX SupermodelY" will have the user guide listed in it's "Documents" tab.
As an implementation reference: it is already possible to associate documents to "Locations" (but, where it differs from my idea, is that I don't see any implication on assets set on that location).
Sync agenda, tasks, dates with Google Calendar
Enable the possibility to sync the dates in the diferent options with google calendar.
Create dynamic groups based on installed software
For example, gather every computer in a group that has Google Chrome installed. Seems to be impossible at the moment (GLPI 10.0.17).
