Custom Fields with TAG for email notification usage

Rodrigo Lima 6 years ago 0

Can you work on next update to make Custom fields be able to:

- Auto create tag for the field created

- Use the tag with Email notification

This way we can send emails with custom field information, this would improve a lot the usability of the plugin what is already very good, if needed some investiment let me know i will be more than happy to help.

Change the size of an image in email

bltsv 6 years ago updated by Noname 6 years ago 2

Is it possible to create a setting to control image sizes?

For now, max image size is 400x300, but it would be great if this size could be customized.

For example, in our organization, all departments except IT do not use the GLPI web interface, and all communication takes place by mail, when someone writes and attaches an image to us, it is so compressed that it is impossible to parse the image, and when we answer the employee and attach the image, the employee can not see the text in the picture.

Add the 'Location' field in changes

malamort 6 years ago updated by Curtis Conard 3 years ago 1

Hello,

Today, it is not possible to define a location for a change

Therefore, it is not possible to list all changes for a location. Consequently, we go 2, 3 times to a single place or the users are surprised to see us coming to replace a PC tower without bringing a screen or whatever they are waiting for...

So, I recommend adding the field 'Location' in the changes. It seems to be logical and profitable for the majority

Inventory - export selected items

Pingax 7 years ago 0

Hi,

Would it be possible to make possible, on the inventory page, select some elements and only export them in pdf. For now, we can only export the current page or all the pages.

Thanks in advance.

Ticket validation - Respond via e-mail

SLRVPVLN2016 7 years ago updated by Óscar Beiro - TICgal 2 years ago 1

I think it might be convenient to validate a request directly in the email using an accept / reject button. Some validators are not very comfortable with the GLPI interface for the validation part.

Meta tags for ticket templates

Arthur Schaefer 7 years ago 0

I've been thinking about something that could be useful for those who use Ticket templates but I don't know if it's possible.

The use of meta tags to be set up on predefined fields.

For example:

Set up a predefined Title to pick up the day of the week, or the month that the ticket is open, or the entity name... but using meta tags. Like those we use in newsletter services like mailchimp or even the same we have in notification templates.

Plugins - Check for a newer version

tyrone wyatt 8 years ago updated by Curtis Conard 3 years ago 1

Create 'Check for a newer version' button on Plugins page.

Create 'checkpluginupdate' automatic action.

Use the Plugins Catalog website for list of plugin versions.

Improve search criterion with drag and drop

tyrone wyatt 8 years ago 0

When adding a search criterion with a global search criterion they are added in order.

Unfortunately this means all search criterion are together and all global search are together.

A modern drag and drop of search criterion would fix this issue.

Diff implementation to tickets etc

piotrlg 8 years ago 0

At the same time I'm using Redmine and GLPI to manage IT projects. One of the problem with GLPI which is nicely solved in Redmine is showing the difference after updating the ticket or whatever in GLPI is to change. Redmine tells me exactly the 'diff' between old and new version of the ticket, change etc. In GLPI the only thing I know is that something has changed, but had no idea what was it. So it would be nice to see a diff (link to page with diff?), which could show the exact last change (what was changed, who made it and when - just like wiki pages).

I know there is History, but it does not show sufficient information.
